What can you say about Pinkie Pie? She's... well, Pinkie Pie! There's not many others like her! She has the energy of a thousand playful puppies and can be a bit scatterbrained at times, but she always has the best intentions at heart. She's very quick to make friends and dedicates virtually every waking moment to bringing a smile to the faces of all her friends at Canterlot High. She's an expert party planner and will use any and every excuse to break out the balloons and confetti. However, despite her sociable nature, she can be quite paranoid, and is often worried about what her friends think about her. If she feels she has let a friend down, she holds it dearly against herself. Once she is assured that her friends still love her like she loves them, her frizzy hair will explode outwards in excitement and she will immediately go back to spreading her trademark smiles wherever she goes.
#History ;
Pinkie Pie may be a party animal today, but she was not always like this. Long before her days as a student at Canterlot High, she lived on the very outskirts of Canterlot City on a farm tended by her mother, father, and three sisters. It was not very fun, to say the least. Communication was sparse, and there was nothing to do but work, work, work. As a result, smiles were seldom for young Pinkie Pie, but this was her life. She knew of no other way.
Then one day, a mysterious, lone object had drifted into the airspace above her family's farm. Pinkie Pie wasn't sure what it was. A distress call? Aliens, perhaps? Her father had always told her to never venture far outside the farm; after all, it was curiosity that killed the cat. After verifying that she was not a cat, and therefore safe from curiosity's morbid wrath, she quickly ran after the object to see where it had originated. What she found would change her life forever.
First, there was another flying object, but of a different color. Then another! And then another! And then another! Finally she came to a patch of dark, green bushes, which provided perfect camouflage for her bright, pink skin. Not wanting to be caught, she ducked in cover and took a peek behind the bushes.
She couldn't believe what she saw! People of all different shapes and colors were gathered around, wiggling in weird motions. Those strange, flying objects were being handed out by a machine in the corner. A cacophony of pleasing sounds bounced from somewhere she couldn't quite discern. But what really caught her attention was the faces of the people. They had their lips curved upward, and stretched wide across their face. It looked kind of painful, but the more she watched, the more she found her own lips curving and stretching.
Then, as if by magic or by force of free will, one of those flying objects drifted in her direction, followed by two more. They were colors she recognized now as blue and yellow, but at the time, they were new and strange to her. She just knew she had to bring these back to the farm with her! So, without hesitation, she snagged the floating objects by the stringy bit underneath and ran back to the farm.
That night, she set to work in her father's shed, tying the objects onto whatever she could so as to keep them from flying away. The next morning, when it was time to mend the fields, Pinkie called her family into the shed and began her performance, attempting to emulate the sights and sounds she had observed only a day ago.
Initially, her family wasn't sure what to think, but just as Pinkie began to doubt their approval, their faces curved and stretched just like the people she saw the day before. She couldn't explain this pleasant feeling as they, too, started to wiggle weirdly and invite her to do so with them! There was this strange sound that was coming from them. Like a vibrating pulsation that her father called a "laugh," something he claimed he had not done in a long time.
Pinkie Pie liked the laugh very much, and from that moment on, she knew she was no longer destined to tend the fields for the rest of her days. No, she was destined for something much better: She wanted everyone to laugh, and for everyone to know the feeling she felt at that instant.
So, although reluctant, her father knew this as well, and after a week of contemplation decided it was best to send his daughter on her way. She was taken in by friends of the family, Mr. and Mrs. Cake, who would raise her as their own in the city of Canterlot. There, she perfected the delicate craft of the "party" and honed her smile-making skills, meeting many new friends and sharing many more smiles along the way.
Pinkie's first days at Canterlot High were rough. Despite being raised on such a dismal land, she found her newly found party prowess hard to suppress. Quite contrary to what she formerly believed, there was a time and place for parties, and school wasn't the time or place. Except when it was. She was so confused.
Having not been acquainted with the school setting, she was often punished for loud and disruptive behavior, something she'd assumed that everybody would naturally appreciate. Especially when the teacher would ramble on and it would become really boring. The party girl soon became lonely, and she was just about ready to empty the balloons and cake from her locker when she eventually made friends with classmates Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack.
Despite their differences--especially those from that strange, familiarly-voiced Fluttershy--the five of them got along splendidly well. Finally, Pinkie thought, someone who enjoys a good smile as must as she enjoys handing them out! As fate would have it, the bonds between her friends would be put into question, before their true and permanent connection would come to light.
During her sophomore year, former meanie Sunset Shimmer decided to send a bunch of fakey texts and emails to her friends. In particular, she'd sent a particularly misleading email, informing her that Fluttershy had wanted fireworks during her silent auction at the animal shelter. This caused a rift between her friends that lasted for longer than Pinkie Pie cared to remember. It was only with the coaching of mysterious out of town purple-haired girl/magical horse princess from another world, Twilight Sparkle, that she and the gals managed to rekindle their spirit and defeat the raging she-demon.
Unfortunately, just as they were beginning to warm up to each other, Twilight was forced to return home to her land of ponies. It's funny; you wouldn't believe how many times Pinkie had heard that excuse before.
Presently, Pinkie Pie and her now reunited friends and fellow bearers of the Elements of Harmony have set aside their adventures and have dedicated their time to helping the now ex-meanie Sunset Shimmer fit in with the rest of her fellow students. It's not the easiest of tasks, considering the whole turning into a scary demon thing and enslaving the entire school, but with enough smiles and the right flavor of cake, Pinkie Pie is confident that she and her friends can overcome anything.
And that, my friends, is how Equestria was made.

The girl with pink hair. That was her codename, and also a fairly accurate description she presumed, but that was just a coincidence. With her back tightly groping the wall behind her, she stealthily peered around the corner, keeping her frizzy hair of cotton candy out of sight. Her target, a more elderly woman with long, vibrant hair of many hues, strolled obliviously through the halls. Yes, she was completely unaware of the girl with pink hair's presence.
She materialized what looked like a can of tomato juice, but anybody on the "inside" knew that it was really a two-way communicator. "Girl with pink hair to Captain Scales," she whispered into the hollow, aluminum surface, "I have sight of the target and am en route to pursue. Do you copy?"
She put her ear to the hollow earpiece of the device, nodding her head as her pet alligator at home presumably told her to proceed with caution.
Pinkie, as she was called to those on the "outside," tip-toed in the target's direction. At one point, the target stopped and shot her head behind her, but Pinkie was too swift to be detected. Figuring she had just been hearing things, the target shrugged and returned to her walk. As the target finally reached the point of action, she couldn't help but shake the feeling she was being watched.
All of a sudden, Pinkie Pie burst from the locker nearest her, a shower of brightly colored confetti raining down on her target. "Surprise!" she screamed and proceeded to strum a loud noisemaker into the woman's face. "Happy birthday, Principal Celestia!"
Unfortunately, her mission ended in failure. She would spend the next hour in detention for disrupting the neighboring classrooms.||| Bearer of Harmony Form |||

#Magical Abilities;
Ability Name; Party Cannon
Ability Type; Offensive
Ability Effect; Knocks enemies out of the park with a surprise barrage of confetti.
Ability Description; At her command, usually with a chant such as "Party Cannon, Go!" or something to that effect, Pinkie Pie materializes a large, metal cannon that sends an explosion of confetti to toss her enemies into the air like bowling pins! It has the advantage of being able to to deal massive damage to groups of enemies, but takes a long time to magically recharge and is quite exhausting to hold. As such, it is best saved for a particularly rainy day. Don't worry, the confetti is biodegradable, so it won't pollute the water supply or something like that!
Ability Name; Balloon Shield
Ability Type; Defensive
Ability Effect; A balloon protects Pinkie from projectile attacks.
Ability Description; Pinkie Pie can magically summon an unlimited number of small, colorful balloons to keep her out of harm's way. Due to their size, they are quick to inflate, but will pop immediately upon contact. Also, they only work against projectiles, so don't you even dare try some kind of close-range attack, Cheater McCheaty Face!!
Ability Name; Pinkie Sense
Ability Type; Support
Ability Effect; Much like those people with the pretty glass balls on early-morning TV, Pinkie Pie can vaguely predict the type of attack her enemy is about to land on her and her teammates.
Ability Description; Twitch-a-twitch! Pinkie's hair is a-twitchin' and everyone knows what that means! Something's going to fall! Better pull out the umbrella hats! Using various bodily cues, Pinkie can predict the type of attack that her enemy will use on her. However, its usefulness is dependent on the speed and distance of the attack. Her predictions will be useless if enemy attacks are so swift that her friends can not plan a counterattack! In addition, she can only predict one, immediate attack at a time, not an attack made later down the line.
