Every fall, as the leaves begin to change from green to red and yellow, Canterlot High School hosts a charity marathon in the nearby Everfree Park. At least, that’s how it would normally go. Due to recent events at Canterlot High School, however, massive repairs were needed to be made to the front of the school. So this year’s fundraiser is dedicated to trying to make up some of the funds that had been spent on school repairs.
Still, delays shouldn’t put you down and stop everyone from having a good time. Both students and members of the community are invited to come down and help raise money for the new school year. Various clubs and groups from the school run booths and tables, turning the marathon into almost like a mini festival. Capping it all off, in the spirit of the fall season, Sweet Apple Acres provides free cider to all participants and guests.
So come on down to the Everfree Park and enjoy some fall fun.
